An Eye For Music - Music Images For The Millennium Until Mon 31 Jan. One of Scotland’s leading photographers, Marc Marnie, presents his first major exhibition for over ten years. The show features 50 new photographs of some of the most influential musicians of the last decade. Famous faces include James Brown, Chuck Berry, Nick Cave and Jarvis Cocker. Inshore, Pink And Black Until Mon 31 Jan. Photographs, text work and recorded conversations by artist Ian Stephen documenting the lives of inshore fishermen working in Mull and Iona.

Justin Tow er Until Sat 22 Jan. Justin Towler’s work is showcased in this exhibition which features artwork created for the Street Level/Sustrans Public Art Commission. The artist’s brief was to produce a permanent piece of public art with a lens-based component. The result which will be sited along the Clyde Cycle Route comprises ceramic tiles, photographic signposts and rings of Braille text.

Artism 2000 Until Mon 31 Jan. A major exhibition organised by the Scottish Society for Autistic Children in partnership with Autismo Burgos featuring over 134 artworks by autistic children and adults from all over Europe. Showing alongside the exhibition, are new artworks created by children who attended a workshop at Glasgow’s Project Ability.

Situated opposite the National Gallery of Modern Art, the new Dean Gallery is entirely devoted to art of the 20th century. Formerly a 19th century orphanage, it houses a large collection of work by Eduardo Paolozzi, as well as outstanding works drawn from the National Galleries’ Dada and Surrealist collections, plus works by Giacometti, Picabia, Max Ernst and others. The upper galleries are given over to temporary exhibitions.
