Eileen Agar 1899-1991: A Centenary Exhibition Until Sun 27 Feb. £2.50 (£1.50); joint admission with Magritte £5.50 (£4). British surrealist painter Eileen Agar was the only female artist chosen to exhibit alongside Picasso, Max Ernst and Joan Miro in the 1936 London International Surrealist Exhibition. To celebrate her centenary, an exhibition of over 120 works from private and public collections featuring oils, acrylics, collages, watercolours, photographs and found ob'ects.
Elizabet Blackadder Until Sun 23 Jan. Free. An exhibition bringing together twenty oils and works on paper spanning the career of Falkirk-bom painter, Elizabeth Blackadder. Included in the show are artists’ sketchbooks, drawings and gouaches of the Italian landscape created in the mid 19505, and large-scale floral and still life works.

Art An Business Until Sun 23 Jan. The business and commerce industries have created the wealth of Scotland, shaping the country’s towns and cities. This exhibition features contemporary portraits including images of current wealth creators.
Magna Brava: The Magnum Women Photographers Until Sun 30 Jan. £2.50 (£1.50). The great women Magnum photographers - Eve Arnold, Martine Franck, Susan Meiselas, Inge Morath and the late Marilyn Silverstone - show work from around the globe. Over 180 photographs are on display, which are both poignant and stunning examples of documentary photography. The subject matter ranges from Amold’s view of China; Franck’s study of social groups in the Gaelic speaking Tory Island in Ireland; Meiselas’ disturbing images of Nicaragua, El Salvador and the Mexican/American border; Morath’s vision of New York; and Silverstone’s work in India, Pakistan and Tibet. This exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Marilyn Silverstone who died in September.
Picture Yourself Until Sun 31 Dec. Free. Marty St James’ video project Picture Yourself emphasises the uniqueness of our lives. Visitors to the gallery during the year 2000 can have their portrait hung and framed in the permanent collection in the company of the gallery’s most famous faces.
