1 Phlash3000: 'EP' (Estereo) The Restless Soul, Phrl Asher, drops a double pack containing four tracks of sublime house music for Brighton's Estereo.
., 1 Count Zero: 'Blue Boogaloo' (Out Of The Loop)
Interesting Manchester label, Out Of The Loop, has its second outing from new artist, Count Zero. The track basically works a sample groove but it does so in a more subtle style than the usual fare.
Masters At Work And Liliana: 'Brazilian Beat' (Mr Bongo)
Masters team up with Brazilian vocalist Liliana Chachin (Da Lata) for this South American house groove that rocks a simple but complex-under—the-surtace beat, before the warm Brazilian vocals drop.
Lynsey Moore: 'Makes Me Feel' (White Label)
Joey Musaphia returns to sparkling form with this soulful garage number for the laydees. The hook is all and will have the dancefloor shuffling endlessly.

I Club 69 at Rocksy’s Basement. 10pm—2.30am (midnight curfew). £5 (members only). Weekly. The team behind the Rub-A-Dub record shop with the deepest underground sounds. Don’t be put off by the fact that the club runs out of a restaurant basement, Club 69 is one of the best places in Britain to hear deep low- down techno. I Home Cookin' at Babaza. 6pm-3am (DJs from 11pm). Free before 11pm; £5 after. Weekly. Jamie Strang and Raymond Woods with a top notch blend of music of black origin, including rare groove. R&B and hip hop all underpinned with soul classics and a seriously funky flavour.
I Inside Out at The Arches. 10.30pm—4am. £12. 29 Jan. Monthly. Residents Simon Foy and Zammo bang out house from the glam end of the spectrum, ably assisted tonight by guests Sonique, Darren Stokes and the Rhythm Masters.
I Knucklehead Present My Machines at The Glasgow School of Art (upstairs). 10pm—late. £4 (£3.50). Weekly. Jilkes and Hatch hammer out cool, deadly funked-up techno and hard as nails house to a seriously appreciative crowd, who cheer each and every chopped up mix. Arguably the best Glasgow has to offer on a Saturday night, definitely a cracker.
I Life at Life. 10pm—3am. £5. Weekly. Andy Unger presents a selection of soul, funk and disco augmented with original samples and loops to guarantee a new take on familiar sounds.

I Mish Mash at The Riverside Club. 12am—3.30am. £5. Sat 29 Jan. Monthly. Oscar and cohorts lan Whitelaw, Divin and Nordin mix live vocals and percussion with a genre-bashing DJ set, taking in deep house, dancehall, soul and pretty much anything else for a wildly up for it crowd. See preview.
I Polo Lounge at The Polo Lounge. 10.30pm—3am. £5. Weekly. Featuring Andy in the Trophy Room with hits from the 605 to the 805 while Tom provides an upfront dance selection in the main room. Gay.
I Planet Peach at Planet Peach. 11pm—3.15am. £5 (£4). Weekly. Hands in the air anthemic house from Alan Ronald, with a smattering of garage and the best 905 floorfillers.

Colin Tevendale and Steven McCreery supply the dressed-up glamour kids with progressive house and trance in the main roont while Kevin MacFarlanc and Stephen Lee mix up garage, disco and vocal house in Room Two. If you’re not wearing awfully nice clothes, however. don‘t expect to get in.
I 2 Tons of Fun at Club Budda. 11pm—3am. £6. Weekly. Geoff Montford and Chris Harris get funky with a bang up- to-date selection of vocal house and garage. The duo are famed for their sleaze- drenched electro funk and mucky techno. bill the sure fire crowd-pleaser will be the pair‘s evil take on Iggy Pop classic ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog’.
