In a late addition to the programme, Corea leads a strong quartet, with Bob Berg on saxophone, John Patitucci on bass, and drummer Cary Novak. The pianist has alternated between acoustic and electric outfits ever since the late 603, and this quartet looks like the successor to his Akoustic Band (also with Patitucci), but with Berg and the bass-player both highly experienced in fusion formats, there may be a greater crossover.
