I Elizabeth Gordon Ouinn Winged Horse revives Chris Ilannan's play first performed in Edinburgh in 1985. Set at the time of the Glasgow rent strike. its central character is a woman who considers herself superior to her working class neighbours. I Speaking For Myseli . . . ?Twofine monologues revived by The Byre Theatre Company in a well-matched double-bill. Peter Nardini's Jimmy Hanlon is a sensitive portrayal of a mentally handicapped old man and Anne Marie Di Mambro‘sloe is a witty and touching study of a middle-aged Italian woman living in Scotland. Recommended.
