For two weeks at the end of June, Edinburgh comes alive with a celebration of everything that is film.
The 67th Edinburgh International Film Festival runs from 19 to 30 June and is set to include a jam-packed programme of great films and events showcasing a range of outstanding premieres from around the world. This year, EIFF is proud to announce, Not Another Happy Ending, starring Karen Gillan and Stanley Weber (alongside Amy Manson, Iain de Caestecker, Kate Dickie, Freya Mavor, Gary Lewis and Henry Ian Cusick), as the Closing Night film. This upbeat, romantic comedy, as Chris Fujiwara EIFF Artistic Director states, is a ‘fresh, interesting, and almost idyllic take on the cultural vibrancy of Scottish city life…the film will add just the right note of celebration with which to close our festival this year.’
