JULIE BROOK – MADE, UNMADE Inspired by recent trips to Libya and Namibia, Julie Brook’s latest solo show explores local cultures’ interactions with the natural world. Using drawings and carefully-sequenced film footage, the exhibition both documents Brook’s experiences and reconfigures the landscape through human eyes. This being at Dovecot, there will also be a tapestry element involved in the exhibition, with a specially-commissioned rug produced by resident weaver Jonathan Cleaver, inspired by one of Brook’s works.
