Last lie you told I usually have to tell the occasional s white lie to my daughter who is very excitable. So to save us all having sleepless nights I sometimes pretend that things aren’t happening when they actually are . . . like Christmas, birthday parties etc. Christmas morning is a really big surprise for her. She’s at an age now, though, where she is working it out herself.
