THE ART ISSUE ROSS FRASER MCLEAN
Ross Fraser Mclean is a Dundee native whose photography has taken him from a rapidly-modernising China to the crumbling barrios of Cuba and rural Northern India. His work – primarily comprised of analogue photography but including digital work and now cinematography – offers a personal refl ection on wider issues, drawing direct links between the individual and society. Most recently he exhibited work from his travels in India in August 2011, during which time he was a virtual captive in an isolated village populated by snake-charmers. rossfrasermclean.com
