Eileen Cooper is a painter and printmaker who employs a playful approach to the universal questions she attempts to address through her art. David Mach and Michael Visocchi employ sculpture to examine the material world around us, and Neil MacPherson is a surrealist figurative painter who combines rich colour work with spare imagery to create his compositions.

The first UK exhibition since 2002 of new and historical works by Marc Camille Chaimowicz, one of the pioneers of installation and performance art. The exhibition includes a new work commissioned by Inverleith House and part-funded by Creative Scotland, which takes the form of a tufted rug designed by the artist and produced at Dovecot Studios under the guidance of their master weaver Douglas Grierson. ■ Inverleith House, Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh, until Sun 6 Feb.
