UNINSTAL The Arika-produced taster festival for Instal continues over the weekend with more experimental adventures
in sound. There is Eric La Casa and Jean-Luc Guionnet’s ‘House’, an exploration of soundscapes gathered from Glaswegian homes; and ‘Used Sound’, concerning the philosophy of improvisation, and delivered by the philosophically and musically-inclined trio of Guionnet, Ray Brassier, and Seijiro Murayama. Then the transgressive poetry/prose/music exhibition ‘What Is To Be Done?’ by Christian Bok (pictured), Craig Dworkin and JLIAT promises to push the boundaries and ‘exceed tradition’ in terms of thinking how we create music. ■ Tramway, Glasgow, until Sun 16 May.
