This October and November Glasgay! and The Tennessee Williams Festival celebrate the life and work of one of America's greatest authors on the 25th anniversary of his death. Featuring theatre, film, music, dance, contemporary art, performances and more, the festival takes place across Glasgow, with a classic film series also showing in London and Edinburgh.
The Tennessee Williams Festival includes a 14-title classic film series, (Glasgow, Edinburgh and London), four UK theatre premieres, four Scottish premieres and Tron Theatre Company's classic revival of Suddenly Last Summer.
Other festival highlights include Stephen Petronio Dance (NYC); Cryptic; Pacitti Co; Simon Fischer-Turner and Black Sifichi and BOUT!QUE - our contemporary performance programme from emerging Scottish artists. Visual arts events include David Trullo (Spain) and Gregor Laird (Scotland), and Glasgayl's comedy series will delight with Tina C, Dilly Keane, Paul Sinha, Tim Fountain and Lorraine Bowen. The festival's well-loved music and clubs programme this year includes David Ferrard, RPZ, Utter Gutter, Vogue Ball, Death Disco and Amy Lam's Pom Pom International.
