The latest club news
I The big news this fortnight has to be the announcement of Rock Ness, as Fatboy Slim (pictured) flies in for a night on the banks of Lock Ness on 24 June. Carl Cox, Mylo, Audio Bullys, Slam and Cagedbaby are the other acts announced so far for this unique 12 hour dance fest. Check rockness.co.uk for more info and tickets.
I Talking of Carl Cox. the nicest man in techno has just been announced as one of the new patrons of the Arches alongside playwright/director Liz Lochhead. as part of their 15th anniversary celebrations. He also spins at Colours on 16 April. and we're still awaiting news of whether Lochhead will be joining him behind the wheels of steel.
I Back to festival land with the news that Trouble have been personally invited to appear at Rob da Bank’s Bestival way down on the Isle of Weight (8-10 September). They join the likes of Pet Shop Boys, the Fall, the Aliens, Klaxons, Fence Collective, Justin Robertson, Erol Alkan, DJ Marky, DJ Yoda and, how could we forget, Kid Creole 8. the Coconuts.
