SPARC Arts and Inclusion Development

Officer

Salary £23,739 - £25,857

Temporary post initially for one year

We are looking for an enthusiastic. committed and energetic individual who will be responsible for co-ordination and management of SPARC community arts organisation. Responsibilities include: Strategic and operational planning, networking and organisational development; fundraising. finance and resource management; co-ordination, management and support of board of directors, staff. volunteers and trainees; community consultation and increasing involvement; researching, reporting, monitoring and evaluating activity.

The Dance SPARC Co-ordinator

Salary £18,381 - £20,169

Temporary post for three years - end March 2009

Key tasks include the co-ordination and delivery of the Dance SPARC programme funded by The National Lottery through Big Lottery Fund. This will involve the development of an accessible, interesting and relevant dance programme for the community and working in partnership with other organisations. Other responsibilities include: Direct coaching activity and associated outreach, co-ordination, planning and development of dance activity, resource management. supporting volunteers and trainees.

SPARC Administration Assistant

Salary £13,554 - £14,220 pro-rata,17.5 hours per week.

Temporary post initially for one year

This role involves the provision for the smooth running of the office environment.

Other key areas of responsibility include: recording of financial information. supporting the SPARC arts and inclusion development officer and other general office duties.

This post will be split 50/50 between SPARC and the STAND dance studio.
