Music news that hasn 't a clue what a ‘G/asgow Mega-snake' is either.

I T in the Park tickets are sold out so whatever you do, don’t buy from any online agencies as chances are they don’t have any. And for the lucky 69,000 who did get tickets, Richard Ashcroft, the Stokes and the Magic Numbers are the latest names to be added to the bill.

I Those Wishing to find their own music being blared from the speakers come T in the Park time should submit their demo entries to the T Break Judges by 23 March. All entries shOLild be sent. along With an application form available on www.1break.co.uk. to: T Break 2006. Tennent Caledoniaii Breweries. 161 Duke Street. Glasgow, G31 1J0.

I Those keen-eyed among you will have notice already that we’ve been bumming up the line-up for Triptych which is, to be perfectly honest, pretty damn fine. If you missed it, see page 8 for the full story.

I Radio 1 doesn't really do justice to anyone outside the home counties so it was a very pleasant surprise when it announced its annual One Big Weekend was winging its way to Camperdown Park in Dundee on 13 and 14 May. OK. so it‘s a bit off our regular path but there is always the occasional thing worth getting out the cities for and this should be good. The bill is still very much under wraps but word is a couple of big 'Scottish' (note use of inverted commas here. peeps) acts will head the bill as well as a very particular female pop diva from the US of A. Free tickets will be available from May so we'll keep you posted when full details are announced.

I Much bumping of gums is going on about the future of Glasgow venue Stereo as owner Craig Tannock has been mentioned in connection with the refurbishing of a classic art deco building off Hope Street into a new music venue. The hope is to transform the space into a café bar and the basement into a music venue. Planning application has been lodged and more definite news will come at the end of March. We’ll keep you posted.
