Kenny's SCUIptures at first appear straightIOrward. almost plain. often austere. His clean forms and finishes iust want me to touch the smooth surfaces. But then wrlen yOu look Closer reality hits back. They are deeply contemplative works that merge lIISlOI‘y wrtli contemporary life. high With popular culture. politics wrth daily issues of existence and survival.
He made the fire fighters heroes before September 1 lth. Was it a foreSight’? I don't know. I love ll too because it is next to the station. meg in Aberdeenshire. I don't often have enough time to go and enioy the wealth of art galleries Scotland's central belt has on offer. So I can lust stroke the firefighters when rushing past on the way back to train up north from one of
my day trips full of meetings.
