Six venues in eight years - now that‘s dedication to the cause. It started all as the odd one-oil event in Galasheils. booking the likes at Andy Weatherall and Justin Rebertson. and has since moved to its permanent (we hope) home at the Venue where the likes of Phil Keiron and Marshall Jefferson have presided over the wheels of steel. ‘I would stay at the Venue forever. I love it,’ says resident and promoter Steven Cass. ‘I went to Pure and places like that years ago. and it’s one of the venues I‘ve always wanted to play in. As for music policy we class it as house and techno. We've DJed for ten years so we like to drop an old classic every now and then. like the KLF or a bit of Italian house.‘
This month there's no letting up as Robertson returns for his NSA Edinburgh debut. ‘He's the tribal master.‘ says Cass. And he’s not wrong there: Robertson has been key in the evolution of UK club culture from the inception of his Spice night in Manchester in 1990. and he's now resident alongside Dave Clarke at Bugged Out! And don't forget his time at the helm of dubbed- out dance act Lionrock, either.

starts going nuts and keeps rocking until it shuts.‘ says Cass. Get there early so you don't miss any of the action.
