Marking the launch of the Royal College of Music's Benjamin Britten International Opera School. the opera stars of tomorrow bring Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream to Edinburgh. The production also commemorates the 25m anniversary of the death of Britten and is dOuny-fitting as Britten himself was a student at the Royal College of Music. Supporting the cast in their fresh interpretation of Britten's tl‘iUSIC and Shakespeare's comedy. will be the BT Scottish Ensemble and children from St Mary's lvlus(c School. Taking the role of Hippolyta lS Julianne Young. Born in Edinburgh. she moved to Sooth Africa when very young and the trip from London will be her first visit to Edinburgh Since her birth.
