I Liquid Gold at Q. 5pm—3am. Free before 11pm; £5 after. Weekly. Funky tunes and club classics from Harry 8., Scott McMillan and Paul Traynor at this bar-club in association with Babaza’s hedonistic extravaganza, Liquid Cool. Not to be confused with the popular ‘room deodoriser’ of the same name.
I Li/Lo at Reds. 10pm—3am. £4 (£3). Weekly. Oscar (Mish Mash) and Harri (Subculture), sparring partners of old, join forces for some funky deep house. I Optimo at Substitute Venue (Planet Peach). 11pm—3am. £6 (£5). Weekly. 2001 — it’s on! Assuming the faithful have recovered from the Espacio Odyssey, it’s business as usual for Little Roland, Mr. Wilkes and Twitch. They might have gone corporate with one of those modern websites, but the ‘Timo still provides the best in spazzed-up punk-funk-disco-electro-rock-pop, all smeared in sonic KY and musical blood. They love your ears, but you hurt the ones you love.

A perv’s paradise, with peep-hole performances, non-specific fake shagging and a general atmosphere of muckiness. Oh, and there’s music too, with Mark Sherry and Paul Mendez spinning upfront, uplifting house in the main room, Naeem rocking downstairs with his hip hop selections and Paul Traynor providing R&B cuts in the SkybaL

I Phat Dave at The Living Room. 9pm—1 1pm. Free. Weekly. Starting the week with ‘hedmuzik 4 beatfreakz’, which translates into English as hip hop, breaks, beats and the like.
I PlayStation League at Bar Jedi. 9pm—midnight. Free. Weekly. For kids sore of thumb and pallid of complexion. A case of lager is up for grabs for the top gun gamer, assuming you can drag yourselves away from the ‘station at home.

I Burn at Mas. 11pm—3am. Free for staff of any pub or club; £3 to everyone else. Weekly. A top party atmosphere guaranteed thanks to the thumping dance classics unleashed by Norm and Richard.

I Passionality at Planet Peach. 11.30pm—3am. £3 (£2 with flyer). Weekly. Gay night that invites you to ‘come get passionate’. The music, courtesy of DJ Andy (Bennet’s/Sadie’s), promises to be cheesy chart, upfront house and handbag.
I Speedracer at The Garage. 10.30pm—3am. £5 (£3). Weekly. Indie classics with the odd daft party tune thrown in for the usual crazy crowd.
I transistorzbuel at Q. 11pm—3am. £3. Weekly. Seriously cool, if cryptic name for a new gay night at the little venue with Wayne Dixon and Niall McMurray. The music policy promises to be classic pop from the 19805 to right now.

I Du Night at The Variety Bar. 8pm—midnight. Free. Weekly. Stevie Donaldson (Bar 10) playing, oddly enough, dub.
I Club Salsa Sabrosa at Havana Bar. 8pm—midnight. £4 (£3.50). Weekly. DJs Keith and Alexis provide you with a cool night of Latin tunes, with merengue and salsa classes from 8pm.
I Bar 10 at Bar 10. 7pm—late. Free. Weekly. A chance for aspiring DJ talent to get noticed: every week three bedroom turntablists spin their discs, the best being selected by the crowd, who then progress to the final, where DJs and promoters from various clubs grant the cream of the crop a chance to play at their venue or club.
I Passion Pour La Vida at October. 8pm—midnight. Free. Weekly. The award- winning DJ Jazz drives up the temperature in Princes Square with a Latino/Spanish extravaganza.

cheesy and classic, from DJs Wayne and Darren who’ll be spicing things up with the odd disco-flavoured pop hit.
I Eden at Alaska. 11pm—3am.£4 (£2). Weekly. One for the students, with the usual classics of academe downstairs thanks to Alan Ronald, plus some charging party tunes and a smattering of house upstairs from Scott Mackay of The Tunnel. Further proof that Tuesday is the new Thursday.
I F.U.N. at Planet Peach. 11pm—3am. £3. Weekly. Gay night featuring the traditional hodge podge of cheesy chart action and camp handbaggage courtesy of DJ Georgie Boy and regular live PAs. I Media at Media. 11pm—3am. £tbc. Weekly. A full-on flavoured mix from lain Thomson.

I Shooting Stars at The Garage. 11pm—3am. £4 (£3). Weekly. Gerry and Iain keep the drunk kids happy with charty house and po hits. I The Shimmy (lug at Bennet’s. 11.30pm—3am. £3 (£1.50). Weekly. A straightish and studenty night at the gay venue, with Raymond Davren maintaining the party atmosphere.
I Slave Boy Tuesday at Slave. 10pm—3am. £3 (£2). Weekly. Hostess Ms Mi-Mi-Martini and resident Jon Fraser with handbag and hardbag albums at the club’s gay night.
I T.I.T. at Trash. 10.30pm—3am. £4 (£2). Weekly. Grahame Ferguson and Robert and Scott Free spin upfront house in the main room, pop for the studes in room two and relaxed grooves. The kids love it, despite the name.

I Deathlehem at The 13th Note Club. 11pm—3am. £2. Weekly. Residents Dumptruck, Demonic and Craig look set to scare the punters silly with mean old rock and metal — think Korn and Slipknot having a scrap with Black Sabbath and AC/DC.
I F.A.B. at Babaza. 11pm—3am. £3 (£2). Weekly. DJ Skud blends garage, R&B and funky house, playing to a dressed-up crowd who help to make this one of the busiest midweek nights in Glasgow.
I Hotdog at Reds. 11pm—3am. £3 (£2). Weekly. An Anne Summers-sponsored night that’s about to spice up your life. Music comes in the form of dance classics from Keith Pyper, but it’s the PVC underwear, joy juice and willy- shaped ice-cube makers that we’re after. I Joints And Jams at Planet Peach. 11pm—3am. £3 (£2). Weekly. High calibre night of hip hop, swing and R&B from a rotating roster of DJ talent including Martin Hesketh, Puppa Shango, John Lyons, DMG and James Fullerton.
I Overground at The Velvet Rooms.
1 1pm—3am. £4 (£2). Weekly. Indie sounds and chart classics from Joe McKay.
I Shag Tag at Archaos. 11pm-3am. £4 (£3). Weekly. insanely successful night based on a complex numerical flirting system: everyone gets a number upon entry, then, if someone catches your eye, you write their number on the board next to your own, with the idea being that they then rush up to you and get biz-ay. Music- wise, it’s banging house and trance in the main room and across-the-board ‘madness’ from C.J. downstairs.
