I David Helfgott Queen’s Hall, Clerk Street, 668 2019. 7.45pm. £8—£22.50. The biopic of Helfgott’s life furnished Geoffrey Rush’s mantelpiece with an Oscar. But previous outings by this concert pianist have suggested that Shine did far more for Helfgott’s career than his natural ability might have achieved. Nonetheless, he’s toured the world twice over, playing to full houses.
