The essential selections from Glasgow this fortnight

The Antidote There’s nothing lik spot of country air to refresh the senses, and The Antidote gang are keen to encourage a bit of rambling. Catch a bus from the 13th Note Club at 9pm or 11pm to a secret spot in the sticks to see Terry and Jason Pussypower, Twitch and the Syntax crew, plus live action from Joy and Lummox. The transport returns at 7am and 8am, so prepare for a long night. A secret location, Sat 75 Jul.

Divine The Vic Bar mash-up of Northern Soul, sleazy funk, pop nonsense and the occasional breakbeat is ten years old this fortnight. As ever, Andy Divine and Hush Puppy will be programming your favourite anthems onto a suitably retro cassette, and this year there will be a posters and flyers retrospective in the gallery plus a glass of fizzy wine. Here's to another ten years. The Glasgow School of Art, Sat 75 Jul.

Electric Bogie Martyn and Ali Jengahead are joined by Dan and Jon Kahuna (pictured), the big beat DJs behind what was rumoured to be Norman Cook’s favourite night, The Big Kahuna Burger. There's no music policy down at Electric Bogie, so expect a serious vinyl session taking in anything from acid house to techno. Sub(sti'tute) at Planet Peach, Fri 7 Jul.

Gay and Lesbian Centre Ceilidh Since a certain millionaire bigot and his horrible associates came on the scene, the Gay and Lesbian Centre and Glasgow Gay and Lesbian Switchboard have been sorely in need of extra cash. Express your opp )sition to the Keep the Clause campaign through the unlikely medium of Scottish country dancing and raise some funds in the process. Glasgow Trades Hall, Fri 7 Jul.

Home Cookin' at Babaza. A brand new resident for the charged up Babaza kids. Stuart McCallum, regular guest at the likes of Fresh 'n’ Funky and Rotation down in the Big Smoke and columnist in Blue.r & Soul magazine, will be flying up each and every week to spin his trademark R&B with a dash of classic disco and funk. Babaza, Weekly Sats.
