Scottish premiere of one ofTennessee Williams’ first works, only recently re- discovered by actress Vanessa Redgrave. Written in 1938, the play focuses on real- life events which took place in American prisons of the time, where convicts on hunger strike were locked in steam-heated cells and roasted to death.

Things get even racier on Sat 24 Jun and Sat 1 Jul when it’s time for ‘Peter Powers’ Midnight Madness’, a late-night show for adults only. The mind boggles.
