Of course, quiet in Optimo-speak means surging fag-funk tampering with cold-hearted death disco round at acid house’s, erm, house. You know it makes sense.

Lyley, DJ, shop assistant and street artist. has been a regular fixture at Edinburgh's premier hip hop night Scratch since the whole thing kicked off. Saturday nights are about to change though, as Scratch join forces with midweek funk fest Motherfunk for a monthly mega- party which utilises all three floors at Edinburgh‘s Venue. it’s called Saturday Night Live and, if the opening line-ups anything to go by (check out the listings, we don’t have room to go through it all again here), it’ll soon be a regular fixture in your diaries.
