Bugged Out! Once again the mighty tag team of Slam and the Jockey Slut crew have come up with the goods. This time around, the residents are Stuart & Orde and James Holroyd, and live performance comes courtesy of up-and-coming Soma types Mass. It is the guest DJs that should really get the crowd going, however: Domenic of Subculture fame is joined by Tom Middleton and bona fide living legend Carl Craig. Qudos (QMU), Sat 71 Dec.

Cocoyan An increasing number of nights are looking to world music for inspiration, and this brand new club should prove to be one of the best. Expect Jamaican dancehall, soca- Latino fusion action mixed up with good old R&B from Puppa Shango (Joints & Jams) and DJ Yaw. The Apartment, Sun 5 Dec.

The Buff Club A bit of a change for Mark Robb’s easy on the ear retro stylistics, which starts a residency at the gorgeous Groucho’s this week. Be sure to keep hold of the raffle ticket handed out at the door and don't forget your toothbrush, as they used to say, since the top prize is a night at the hotel upstairs. Relief The ever-reliable Relief goes all out this month with the mighty Gene Farris joining the Silicone Soul (above) guys. Also one to remember is Luke Solomon, travelling up from Space in London with Kenny Hawkes completing the bill. The Arches, Fri 3 and Fri 10 Dec respectively.
