MACMILLAN NATIONAL KARTING TEAM CHALLENGE Scotkart Indoor Kart Racing, Westburn Road, Glasgow, info: 01372 807000, Sun 5 Jul. Teams of between five and ten drivers will be charging around tracks all over the country in the hope of beating last year’s figure of £96,000. The endurance race should last around two and a half hours and the glorious victors have the chance to do the same thing in September's grand final at the karting mecca of Buckmore Park in Kent.

The RAF's Red Arrows will also be on hand with aid from Breeze the Hawk and the Scottish Final of the Pedigree Chum Agility Stakes also takes place.
