night at The Attic, Edinburgh. Since then, it
has become Scotland’s flagship hip hop club. After a year at The Attic establishing its vibe, Seen moved down the road to Wilkie House. Although this was a big step and a bigger venue, it roved a necessary risk, giving the club space to expand its aims. The c ub's current home, The Honeycomb, has provided it with even more scope in its quest to rid hip hop culture of its male-dominated image. Through its Early Doors Lounge session (9—11pm), Seen provides Edinburgh's hip hop community with an environment in which young DJs and MCs can flourish. Perhaps more importantly, Seen gives clubbers in general the chance to hear quality old skool music like disco and soul in a decent venue on a Friday night.
