As ever though. it's not about one forrrr of music as the album revealed elements ofdub. funk and gospel. Lest we forget. McDonald has played with most of the greatest musicians of our time including James Brown. George Clinton. The Sugarhill Gang. Grandmaster Flash. Afrikaa Bambatta and a whole host of lesser known but equally credible acts such as Megadeath. Dub Syndicate. Nine lrrch Nails and African Headcharge. The Bis story is certainly a bizarre one; formed in 1994 by two brothers and their friend Manda Rin they generated a lot of interest in a short space of time following gigs in Glasgow. Since then. they‘ve become the ‘next big thing‘ and appeared on Top Oj'T/re Pops as the first ever unsigned act to do so. See preview.
