Well a cure is close at hand. For two whole weeks, Glasgow City Council are running art workshops tor 6-12-yearolds, including: Viking Ship Construction, Atrican Village Dance, Drumming and Orarna, Circus Skills, Face Painting, Egyptian Jewellery and Costume Making and Orarna Workshops with Hopscotch Theatre (above), and all for the princely sum oi £2 per day. lunchtime supervision and entertainment is provided (bring own packed lunch), and kids should dress in old, loose clothing as some event are quite messy.

Kelbum Country Centre start their programme of weekend events with this colourful pantomime about a mischievous ghost who plays tricks on people that he’s really very afraid of. Before he can make his way back home, he has to do one good deed. But is he capable? Go along and find out. Performances are at 2pm and 4pm, with lots of singing and face painting to add to the fun.
