Either the girl’s a midget, or the hand belongs to a giant, and in this case it’s the former, as the small but perfectly formed Thumbelina does her famous ‘being plucked from a flower’ routine for the Edinburgh Puppet Company’s new production. Using a brand new marionette
stage and traditional puppetry skills, EPC will be re-creating Hans Christian
Anderson’s well-loved tale in various venues across the central belt over the next
few months.
