I Name? Boudoir (The Second Coming).
I Occupation? Easy-listening club. I Birthplace? The cocktail bar in the Hotel Satan. Las Vegas.
I And who is responsible tor this twisted hell-hole of nice? The original EJs (that's Easy Jocks) were Dr Paul and lain. lain has left to join a thrash metal band in Granada so there are two new hosts assisting the good doctor. Emma has a degree in easy listening and Matthew has leanings towards the Charles Aznavour ethic, apparently.
I Where did the idea come from? The original Boudoir chaps stumbled across a similar kind of club above a pub whilst being employed as List street vendors during the Festival. Duly converted to the ways of cheese they set one up themselves.
I Where do all these appalling records come from? The Boudoir boys found that you could build up a huge record collection quickly and cheaply by buying from charity sh0ps. Dr Paul originally had a policy of not paying any more than 50p for a record, although now he’s had to up this to £ l. The city centre charity shops are ‘dttff‘ - the truly bad records are only to be had in the far West End and deepest Southside. I Apart from the gentle caress of silky smooth muzak, what else goes on? There are games~a~plenty down Boudoir. with all your childhood faves like Mastermind, Frustration and Cluedo. They've also been busy with the sticky~back plastic and made their own games: snakes and ladders with really fantastic celebrities at the top of ladders and really bad celebs at the bottom of snakes. Tam from Johnny 7 (regular guests of Boudoir) will make the occasional return with his ‘Bingo for Bampots' based on Glasgow bus numbers; ie ‘11 used to go to Drumoyne and now it goes to Basterhouse . . . the 89!‘

Details regarding the latest outing for Scotland's biggest mixed night were unavailable at the time of going to press. Needless to say, though. the night will be as stylishly outrageous as ever. Handbags in the bar, hard house on the floor.
I Mo’ Jazz With Attitude at The 13th Note (groundfloor). 8pm-midnight. ‘Dropping science like never before. the eclectic Watt brothers mix wicked jazz and funky soul in an atmosphere not unlike 605 Soho.’ Still going despite the recent timetabling changes.

Raymond. Hugo and Crust mix up house and hip hop for pre-club lovers.
I Never Get Out The Boat at The Renfrew Ferry. lOpm-late. £8. 25 March and monthly. Slam bring back their incredibly successful series of floating evean that see Stuart and Orde in more of a party mood dropping some absolute stomting classic tracks into their repertoire. The Mischief la Bas company will also be in attendance adding an even more surreal element to the evening.

I Slide at The Tuxedo Princess. 9pm—3am. £2 (£1 with student card — free before 11pm with flyer). Even with a new name this will still be known as the ‘bow- att‘. Student night of mainstream indie. dance and pop of quite indescribable mediocrity.
I Speedracer at The Attic (formerly the Cameo Suite). 10.30—3am. £1. Steven Moody, star of the tabloids persues his ‘NME-orientated music’ as well as a few indie-dance classics. with a heavy slab of hip hop.
