extends his earlier explorations of non- jazz forms. a tendency which will doubtless be reflected here. His last visit with a trio was nothing less than sensational. and he will have to go some to top it this time. The concert is opened by The Jason Rebello Band. the pianist‘s latest funk and soul outfit. featuring singer Joy Rose and rapper Maxi Jazz. Hope it’s a lot less dull than the previous one. but I'm not holding my breath.
