Phoebe Anna Traquair Until 7 Nov. Once Scotland‘s leading exponent of the Arts and Crafts movement. Traquair has been re-discovered from obscurity. This show brings together over 150 of her paintings. embroideries. illuminated manuscripts. jewellery and decorative enamelwork to complete a comprehensive study of this inspired decorative anist. Photographing Children Until 3 Oct. More than 50 photographs which explore the way children have been caught on film over the last l50 years. The photographs. hung on two levels to encourage the smaller viewer. include pieces from Lewis Carroll to Owen Logan. and range in style from sentimental studies to documentary realism.
An exhibition of drawings. sketches. oil painting and collages by Edinburgh artist. Duncan Pettigrew. 1973-1993. is being held at leith School at Art. Pettigrew died earlier this year from leukaemia and to compliment the exhibition, a book of his work love Your Art (£12.95) has been produced. All proceeds will go to the leukaemia and Bone Marrow Transplant Fund and leith School of Art.
