I Frontline: Bloody Bosnia (Channel 4) 8.30—9pm. A special season of programmes devoted to the conflict in the former Yugoslavia features this special report from Journalist of the Year Maggie O'Kane on Slobodan Milosevic‘s rise to power in Serbia.
I ilesnick: lonely llearts (BBC!) 9.05—lO.30pm. A repeat showing of the first film featuring the offbeat Nottingham detective. with our sandwich-munching hero pursuing a romantic liaison with a social worker.
I Moviedrome: mango/Grim Prairie Tales (BBCZ) 9.50pm—l.05am. Alex Cox introduces an offbeat Western double bill. opening up with Franco Nero playing a Civil War soldier dragging a coffin behind him. drifting into a border gang war. Grim Prairie Tales is an unusual attempt at a horror Western. starring Brad Dourif and James Earl Jones as an intellectual and a bounty hunter swapping stories round a campfire.
