I WAYS AND TECHNIQUES OF ENLIGHTENMENT Thurs 15. 7pm. Hillhead Library. 348 Byres Road. £2. Yoga. alchemy. meditation. martial arts and shamanism are all systems for reaching a state known as ‘Enlightenment'. This talk by the New Acropolis School of Philosophy looks at the characteristics which distinguish these systems and the ones they have in common. Finally. the talk asks ifenlightenment exists. and if so. is it attainable.
