I Wave at the Venue. llpm—Sam. Members and guests only. Always a good night guaranteed. Often just as busy as Friday‘s Pure but with a less upfront (ie not so hardcore) music policy. Look out for some big-name guests in the near future.

Greetings Groovers. Dne ol the hottest house tunes on the BACABDI Beat Dance chart is ‘lee You’ by DJAlmin - top New York DJ Tony Humphrles was instrumental in its success by regularly spinning and remixing it live to astonished clubheads.
Still on the house tip, look out tor killer grooves such as CloserThan Close's ‘You GotA Hold On Me’ and Diana Brown and Barry K Sharpe's “The Masterplan’ - both these tracks are re-lssues given tunky remixes by Joey Negro. Tull stuiil
It you preter your beats slower and
jazzlerthen get your hands on the new single trom Jamlroqua, ‘When You Gonna Learn’. This track has everything lrom real strings and horns to lyrical positivity. It’s on the Acid Jan label and Gil Scott Heron would be proud oi it.
Equally as good are lunky new platters lrom McKoy (‘Fight’), Galllano (‘Just Beach’ — with tunky new Mikey T remixes), Chapter and Verse (‘In Another World') and Martine Girault (‘Bevival‘) —the Iattertwo having been remixed by Bay Hayden oi the truly wondertul Dpaz (a name to watch).
While we’re talkln' all thatiazz,l have to mention the keyboard king ol tuslon, Lonnie Liston Smith. He tinkles the old lvories on a new version at his classic ‘Expanslons' by Wag Ya Tail. The late, great Miles Davis also managed to team up with Easy Mo Bee to create the stunning ‘Doo Bop' LP— don’t miss this one, it's electrician luslon meeting hip hop beats head on.
Finally, a special shout goes out to the K-Creative ior some serious live music in Scotland recently- look out lor their LARGE new LP on Talkin Loud.
