Thoroughly enjoyable and thoroughly mobbed.
I Slam at Club Loco at The Arches. 11pm—3.30am. £5. Slammin‘! Consistently good tunes and consistently crowded.
I Speed E at Heaven. 10.30pm-3am. £5/£3.50 with matric card. A name that surely has nothing to do with drugs; they must be referring instead to the heady pace of the music and the exuberance of the youthful crowd.

I Timebox at RAFA Social Club, Ashley Street. 8pm—1am. £3. 25 Sept only. A new night of 605 pop. psychedelia, garage-punk and soul, on the last Friday of every month. Worth checking out. ifonly for the surreal venue.
