The current Kith And Kin material is more diverse than ever, with a strong jazz feel now mixing with their customary brew of reggae. cajun, rock and traditional music. A more mainstream four-piece from Glasgow, The Linden Tree made a stab at immortality with the single John Friendly on their own Headlong Records in 1990, and little has been heard from them since.

Good double-bill.
