IThe Vaults Progress continues apace at Edinburgh's Vaults. Opening at the beginning of April. initially it will only run during Thursdays. Fridays and Saturdays. Thursdays look set to be a gay night. Fridays a cross between Tribal Funktion and Chocolate City and Saturdays a club run by the organisers of Pure. Full details next issue.
I The Tunnel Dates for your diary at Glasgow's Tunnel are 10Apr when Sunscreem strut their stuff and 19 Apr when Mike Pickering‘s rather wonderful M-People make a very welcome appearance.
I The Citrus Club The Edinburgh club is finally finding its commercial feet and is set to continue with a special Rhumha Club night on 1 May when Andy Weatherall will be the special guest DJ. Tickets will only he available in advance as the night is a guaranteed sell-out. so you'd better hurry.
I Slreetwave Eurodanee is the name ofStreetrave Organisation's Easter Special on 18 Apr. And special it most certainly is since the event is being held in the terminal building of Prestwick Airport. So far M-People have been confirmed. along with DJs Pete Tong and Mike Pickering but expect many more over the next few weeks. Proving it is possible to be a highly successful dance club without
resorting to Techno is just one of the achievements of Edinburgh's Big Payback (Thursdays at The Venue). Hip hop, reggae, ragga, rap and funk snuggle up together quite happily underthe guidance of members of
Sugar Bullet, Knightstick and TFI. Here . DJ A-One selects 10 tracks currently gracing the Big Payback decks.
