Blaine Mary Anne Mantell. She it was who, while strolling down a Sussex lane 170 years ago, lound a prehistoric molar and thus prompted the insatiable public lascinatlon tor dinosaurs. Who knows when kids lirst got wind at them, but you don't need to be John Noakes to know that a sure way to make ratings rise is to leature pachycephalosauros, triceratops, stegosaurus and their mates.
150 million years since they lirst topped the bill, dinosaurs are stars again. Dinosaurs Alive! is an exhibition of them at their most realistic. Made of rubber, and robotically animated, the beasts look and leel real. You may already have seen them a year ago when Edinburgh's City Arts Centre attracted crowds. Now they’re back at The Arches in Glasgow, there being no more titling environment for the
