The successful applicant to this new post will play a leading role in partnership with local authorities and national/regional agencies in the development of strategic initiatives for the benefit of the arts, artists and arts organisations in Scotland. The postholder will aim to increase the funds available to the arts and to widen the range of funding sources
Applicants will have a wide knowledge of Scottish affairs, in particular the Scottish arts scene, and will have worked
in an administrative or management capacity in an arts organisation. Experience of working in or with, local authorities and a knowledge of their role and structure is required.
Salary: 215,928-120,155 There is a non-contributory pension scheme

An Assistant Press and Publications Officer is required in the National Galleries to increase further the public's awareness of one of the greatest collections of Fine Art in Europe.
You will be responsible for assisting in the promotion of the Galleries to press and public, and editor of the bi-monthly News bulletin. You should be educated to degree level, and have a sound knowledge of media, publicity, editing and the visual arts.
