I Sixteen students from Scottish Schools of Art

and Arcltitecture have been awarded this year‘s Kinross Scholarship by the Royal Scottish Acadenty in lidinburgh. The ten paitttittg studettls and lltree scttlptttre students will each recciv e a £1 .300 grattt to study in Florence for three ntonths. There they are expected to carry out a programme of work. to 'live simply and to acquire a working knowledge of Italian.

IAndrew Brown, Director of Edinburgh's 369 Gallery has firtally ended his months-long wrangle with the gallery's board of directors who recently accepted his £230.000bid for the building.
