I UFO The Venue. Midnight—4am. £2. Ok. so we haven‘t rated this very highly in the past. But it seems to be getting better. Upfront cuts ranging from indie dance to house to techno. with a Euro/US hardcore influence. Hyper-bass. sound effects and sampling.
I Marleys Shady Lady‘s. 10.30pm—3am. £2. Living up to its name the club plays mostly MOR reggae to a mostly older crowd. A smaller crowd too. oflatc. though with the supposed upsurge in popularity of this kind of music you never know what might happen.

encompasses more up-to-date sounds. combining Prince. Electribc 101 and De La Soul for a night that is perhaps the best of its kind. Maybe the fact that they have the cheapest bar prices in town helps it retain a sense of fun.
