The Twentieth Century Scottish Print (Mayfest) 5 May—23 Jun. A large-scale exhibition of prints by 20th century Scottish artists. all researched and catalogued by I lonours students at the University's I Iistory of Art Department. Diagram of an Object Dhruya Mistry'. best known for his work which appeared at the Garden Festival. has been commissioned to provide an 8ft high sculpture which stands atop the steps that lead from llillhead Street to the Hunterian.

Serpentine Gallery; Sarah Kent, Time Out; and Julian Spalding. who needs no introduction). here pictured trying to get it right. By Wednesday they had succeeded. and gave top prize (£5000) to Andrew Burton at Newcastle for his lndustrialElephant. - David Cook (Dundee) was second. and Marcus Taylor from Bellast wasthird.
This is the most valuable sculpture award in the UK.
