Scotland’s most popular and unique cultural centre now has a new shop and a new look cafe-bar with a new evening menu.
Already we are Glasgow’s most popular wholefood cafe. We have upgraded and extended our facilities, offering new seating and evening meals as well as wine tastings and live music. Open from 10am - 10pm, Third Eye is also perfect for lunch, coffee or a glass of wine, enjoyed in a friendly, relaxed setting.
Our ShOp specialises in art publications, ranging from the popular to the esoteric in the visual and performing arts - cinema, theatre,
literature, music, architecture and design. With a much larger shOp floor, we have added high quality contemporary arts related posters, gifts, toys, stationary and other goods, as well as an exclusive range of artist designed jewellery.
For Christmas we also have a superb collection of art calendars and diaries, addrss books, cards, wrapping paper and an instant picture framing service.
Third Eye Centre presents new developments in the visual and performing arts from the most imaginative, creative artists working in Scotland, the UK and abroad.

The flumbustlous World oiThomas Rowlandson Until 14 Jan. (closed 25 Dec& 1 Jan). An exhibition of the vigorous. though often held to be crude and vulgar. drawings by the English cartoonist and ban viveur. During his life (1756—1827). he associated with Moorland. Gillray and Bunbury. travelled widely in Britain and indulged fully in tavern life. This selection of prints from the British Museum. some of which are on public display for the first time. has been chosen to represent the span of his long career.
Afghan Arts Until 14 Jan. (closed 25 Dec& 1 Jan). Craftwork from the country that made Sandy Gall famous. The textiles. jewellery and rugs exhibited by Guri Le Riche will all be for sale.

The talented young Aberdonian returns to Glasgow with his symbolic. colourful paintings accompanied by figurative paintings from Lesley Banks and the highly detailed works ofJames Macdonald.
Sandy Guy. Stuart McKenzie. Tommy Crooks and Derrick Gulltt 6—27 Jan. Sandy and Stuart are fairly well established painters whilst Tommy and Derrick are gaining increasing recognition in Glasgow.

Dec—2 Jan). The title for this collection of work from the Embroidery and Textile
Group of Glasgow School of Art andthe 62 Group refers to artistic parameters rather than geographical boundaries.

An illuminating exhibition that traces the changes wrought on Glasgow‘s festive lights by Harry Teggin.
