Body Map design for Clark’s classically tough choreography. Wolfi is new. Choreographed by Lynn Seymour (like Clark a rebel from the ballet stage) this piece was inspired by the life of Mozart. Andrew Logan, founder of the Alternative Miss World show, designed the set. Pulcinella, with designs by the artist Howard Hodgkin, is choreographed by the company’s director, Richard Alston. Choreographed in 1953 to an Eric Satie composition, Septet is a Merce Cunningham revival seen in New York this spring and now receives its Rambert premiere in Glasgow. Strong Language is Richard Alston’s latest ballet using costumes designed by Katherine Hamnet. Dancing Day is a Christopher Bruce ballet. Introductory Matinee Wed 18 Nov. 2.30pm. £3.50 all seats. Richard Alston will introduce the company and its repertoire as dancers perform extracts from ballets to illustrate. Michael Clark’s Swamp and Alston’s Dutiful Ducks will then be performed in full.
