The bold artists involved are Mark Saunders, well-known local mime-artist, at present touring Britain with his one-man show The Heartbreak Policy; Steve Kettley, a musician who frequently works with Wildcat Stage Productions and Karen Wimhurst, a musician who has recently returned from California where she was involved in composing and improvising. Exploring Mime Wed 21 or Thurs 22 Oct. 8pm. £2 (£1). A series of works in progress exploring the possibilities of mime, presented by former Vision On presenter Pat Keysell and her students. Politics in the Park is a two-hander written by Iain Heggie (author of Wholly Healthy Glasgow), and was first presented during the Edinburgh Festival as part of the Words Beyond Words programme at the Lyceum Studio. Joe, by Anne-Marie Di Mambro, is presented by Annexe Theatre Company and tells the comic tale of what happens when an Italian Glaswegian housewife visits her bandaged-up husband in hospital.
