Straight from performances at the Edinburgh Festival. this Big Apple duo head for Glasgow. Their dance is fast. very fast and full ofspeed-stopping punctuation. Allen's talent extends to poetry too and his words can be heard on the soundtrack. Altogether a great show. Exciting dance is hard to find in Scotland these days. Don‘t miss it.

That Was Fast Dance Company was fast. In the their piece ‘The Laughing Movie' shown at the Edinburgh Festival last week the two dancers Richard Allen and Karen Pearlman moved with the speed of light tracing the relationship between a man and a woman in gravity.
Glance away for one second and you break the chain reaction. Their performance demands full attention. But rewards are dished out in lull. Speed is connected to a supple strength is connected to imagination is connected finally to the audience without any visible flaws. This

They move as one and it lsalmost a surprise to find they are married. Relationships as harmonious as their joint actions are hard to find.
