Fast Forward Leith Until 3 July. Leith and its history is the subject ofa programme made by the Film Workshop for Channel 4 which should be broadcast early next year. A group of l l year-olds from Bonnington Primary have made their own contribution with an impression ofwhat Leith will look like in the future and have made an animated film oftheir ideas under the guidance ofJessica Langford from the Film Workshop. Their work is on view in this interesting exhibition.

_ SPOKESPERSONS UNITE
Over 800 cyclists of all shapes and sizes, with machines to match, strike out for St. Andrews on Sat 27 June. The 65 miles will be covered at varying speeds by boy racers, experienced tourers and novice grannies, and while many of the participants in this annual event will be sponsored to raise money for Lepra, others will just be along iorthe ride. The well-worn route has been chosen to keep to the back roads where possible, and is well supplied with refreshment stops. A mobile (motorised) repair service will deal with any mechanical problems— though a basic check is advisable beiore setting on. A ceilidh will be held in St Andrews to remove the last ounces of energy, and the night can be spent in accommodation ranging from the very cheap (sleeping bag on the floor) to the reasonably cheap. The return journey can be made with the help at British Rail — extra luggage space will be available on trains on Saturday and Sunday. Though there are those who turn round and cycle straight back!
