Scottish Ballet in Tales ol Hoilman Tue 26—Sat 30 May. This will begin the Ballet‘s summer tour. Scottish Ballet‘s 1972 version of Tales of Hoffman was created by Peter Darrell. Based on the opera by Jacques Offenbach, it spans Hoffman's life from youth to old age. The four great loves of his life add spice to his story as well as providing a perfect opportunity for solos in the ballet. The title role will be danced by Paul Tyers and Robert Hamton, and the lovers‘ roles by Scottish Ballet‘s leading ladies. The ballet will move to the King‘s Theatre. Edinburgh. Tue2—Sat 6 June.
