not exactly iusion, but a sort ol rock-tinged electro-iazz. Based round Bruiord’s electronic drumkit that plays tuned notes and even chords, theirs is clever modern music with a considerable jazz input.
Also on the bill that night are two upwardly mobile musiciansirom Glasgow, Graham Dullin and Nigel Clark, who play very attractive guitar jazz. Clark’s iizzy lingering contrasts with Dultin’s darker tones and together they cover many moods mainstream ballads to the bop repertoire. Together ior only six months they have achieved a remarkable unity.
